Candy Plastic Angels

I was raped.
I think that now it is tattooed on my skin.
That when people say hello to me, they want to run because my rape is getting in their throats and on their clothes.
I don't think it's fair. That I can't go back to being a little girl anymore because I've seen just how bad this place is. And I think it's no fair that I cannot be happy. That me and depression are now friends because she is the only thing I know.
And rape will always be on my skin.
And I'll always want sex even though I don't fully understand why I want another man to touch me.
And I'll always be an empty cage, waiting for my candy plastic angels to come and take their place again inside me.
